Complejo
Arqueológico Cumbe Mayo:
This
place located 20 Km from Cajamarca houses an Inca-made aqueduct,
an hydraulic engineering master piece surrounded by a large
number of stones with impressive shapes of monks, animals etc.
Necrópolis
de Otuzco y Combayo:
At
about 7.5 km from the city these archaeological remains better
known as "Ventanillas" rest, giving testimony of ancient
Cajamarcan inhabitants.
Granja
Porcón:
An
agriculture organisation where the old tradition still is in
use along with the new technology. With 5,600 hectares of wonderful
Canadian pine forests, you can enjoy typical local lactose products,
and the old traditions and languages of the population.
Llacanora:
It
is a little down-to-earth village located in a colourful valley
and surrounded by nature. A marked forest path takes you through
a thickly foliaged forest and leads you to some wonderful waterfalls.
